The flat is located in an old Viennese building. Before we converted it into a flat, the shop was empty for several years. Before that, it was a piano repair shop, a Vespa workshop and a hairdresser's shop.

A special accommodation awaits you! Here you can feel at home during your stay in Vienna. The well equipped and well designed apartment allows you to relax between sightseeing and shopping. Here you can rest, cook and make yourself comfortable.

Check-in is possible 24/7 during the agreed period and is very uncomplicated, as you can enter the flat at any time. In order to receive the code for the key safe, guests must complete  an online check-in (form with data like name, address, etc.) and send a photo of an ID via textmessage.


SUSTAINABILITY

In many cities, more and more living space is being taken away from the locals by tourist flats. As a result, living space is becoming scarce and often no longer affordable. When you book our flat, you are not taking away anyone's living space. You live in a former shop that has been empty for several years. The new use as a tourist apartment also improves the cityscape and revitalises the area.

The flat is supplied with 100 % green electricity, heated with infrared panels and the aircon, hot water is produced by an e-boiler, so no natural gas is needed. 


ROOM LAYOUT

Bathroom: A bathroom with a modern walk-in shower, towel warmer and a feel-good atmosphere awaits you.
Kitchen: If you want to cook, bake, mix cocktails or smoothies yourself, you will find everything you need in the fully equipped kitchen. It's best to buy your ingredients fresh at the nearby Brunnenmarkt.
Living room/bedroom: In the 17 m² living room and bedroom you'll find a large loft bed, a bar area that doubles as a dining table, a couch, a desk with a LAN connection, a smart TV and a cosy bench right behind the shop window where you can relax and watch everyday life of the people in the neighbourhood.

SUPPLY

During your stay you are self-caterer. When you move into the apartment, you will find toilet paper, fresh towels and bed linen.


CAPACITY

The apartment has a floor space of approx. 25 m² and offers enough room for two adults.

INSTRUCTIONS AND INFORMATION

You will find all the important information (safe, WIFI password etc.) in a folder in the apartment or in the guest folder.

Both lines take you to the Ringstraße and the center of Vienna within just a few minutes. We recommend taking the tram, as this is the best way to see the city.

The underground is a quick and easy way to get around the city.
Various bus lines are also close by.

You can also walk to the city center. It will take you around 30. St. Stephen's Cathedral, one of Vienna's landmarks, is only 3.7 km away.

Ottakring is an open and colourful multicultural district that is hip and modern, but also unadorned and authentic. Due to its good location near the center and its diversity the area has become a very popular place to live. There are numerous bakeries and supermarkets close by.

The Brunnenmarkt, Europe's longest permanent street market, is only a few hundred meters from the apartment. Directly next to the market is the Yppenplatz where you will find cute cafés, restaurants and free public WIFI. Special recommendation: Every Saturday until noon there is a farmers' market at Yppenplatz. You can buy local produce, flowers, wine, honey, cheese and much more.

The Thaliastraße also offers several places to eat and shopping opportunities.

For beer lovers: The Ottakringer brewery is located about 600 m from your flat. In the shop you can buy beer from your district, and occasionally there are events and festivals.
